A walk along Changi Point

On a Saturday afternoon that we wanted to be away from the city and felt like taking a walk, we decided to visit a little corner in Singapore that we have yet to step on - Changi Point. With a quick search online, we found a website with walking maps all around Singapore. The Coastal Point Changi Walk is broken down into various parts - Creek Walk, Beach Walk, Sailing Point Walk, Cliff Walk, Kelong Walk and Sunset Walk.

It was good to see a different side of Singapore, although unfortunately, some of the beach was pretty dirty! I thought it would be quiet but there were still some people enjoying the walk, taking photos, fishing and even sailing, enjoying a quiet weekend away from the buzz of the city.

My favourite part of the walk would be the Kelong Walk. There were many people fishing along the way and we were there just in time for a sunset on the Sunset Walk. Unfortunately, the sun was hidden behind the clouds, but we still managed to enjoy the golden orange of the sunset.

After the walk, we headed to Changi Village for dinner, which is pretty famous for its many hawker stalls and good food. All in all, it was an enjoyable afternoon. It was, at the very least, something different from the usual activities in Singapore.
